| Experience: | I realized at a very young age, probably because both my parents were in the educational field, that experience is crucial. That is why I have only taken jobs in which I gain valuable experience because we all know education is very circumstantial. I have worked as a Head counselor for a summer camp that integrated children with developmental delays into a community based setting. I have worked as a 1:1 student aide with a child who had autism and have also been the site administrator at a local after school program for an integrated class. Other than those I have numerous volunteer hours including coaching both basketball and track for typical and special needs students. I am a very open minded person who embraces diversity inside the classroom or area of learning. I truly believe that learning from others and in various ways can take you as far as you want to go in your educational process. I am currently working on dual degrees, both in special ed., and love to integrate what I learn from all the classes into my job. If there are any questions or want to see my resume please feel free to e-mail me at jvespa1@kent.edu. Also please check out my online portfolio at www.personal.kent.edu/~jvespa1/portfolio |
| Hobbies: | I am a pretty simple guy, but my hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing sports, working out and taking my dog on long walks. |
