I received my degree from Missouri Baptist University. I am certified in special education and elementary education. I teach middle school remedial reading and middle school math. These are also the subject I typically tutor, however, I do love teaching communications.I tutor a wide variety of courses, including elementary math, middle school math, biology, reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, writing and editing essays, American and European history, world history, government, psychology, AP courses, earth science, geography, nutrition, public speaking, religious studies, English, math, science, and social studies.I believe all students have the potential to learn and achieve academic success. The key is finding the right teaching tools and a teacher who connects with the student. Children all learn differently. It is my job as an educator to be adaptive in my teaching style. I endeavor to meet each of my student's educational needs by teaching in a way that is complimentary to their learning style. When I'm not working, I enjoy baking cakes and watching football.
